The wind was still blowing this morning, so after updating the weather forecast on this site it was straight off to the beach. The wind was blowing at around 18 knots, but had dropped a little from when i first got up so decided to rig my 5.7m and big board just in case it dropped any further.

The first ten minutes or so I was overpowered a bit, but the wind soon dropped a little and I had a perfect haolf an hour, nicely powered up with the beach to myself and a few nice waves to play on. Unfortunately, the wind then dropped off completely and I was left to bobble back to the beach.

The forecast was for the wind to pick up later in the afternoon, so I left my kit rigged up on the beach, hung my wetsuit up to dry on the side of the van and walked home for a coffee and some breakfast.
